Clinical Exam Experts — Provider Network

For physicians · nurses · psychologists & psychiatrists

Disability exams. No treatment, no billing, no call.

Clinical Exam Experts staffs consultative exam days for Social Security disability determinations. You choose the clinic days. Claimants are scheduled one at a time, 30 minutes to an hour by exam type. Reports are finished before you leave, and the day ends when the schedule says it does.

The work

The exam

Comprehensive, orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, pediatric and general physical examinations — and now mental examinations, our newest line. Physical exams are held in person at a clinic; mental examinations can be conducted by telehealth, with no travel at all. These are assessments, not procedures: nothing invasive, no undressing, no pelvic or prostate exams. You examine, you document, the state decides the claim.

The report

A charting app on your phone, tablet or laptop walks through each finding as you go, and support staff are on hand throughout the day. Reports are reviewed, edited and signed before you leave the clinic — not at ten in the evening.

The terms

You work as an independent contractor. Every clinic day is a written work order you may accept or decline — no minimum, no quota. Professional, general and cyber liability coverage is provided, with a certificate of insurance provided to you. And reliability is rewarded: providers who keep their accepted days are awarded more clinics.

From first call to first clinic

Book a call

Twenty minutes with our operations team: your license, your state, your availability — and every question answered plainly, including rates.

02

One document to fill in — we take care of the rest, through to your certificate of insurance.

03

Observe a clinic · optional

If you'd like, sit in on a live clinic day first — the pace, the app, the charting. Entirely optional; many providers go straight to their first clinic.

Asked before every first call

Is this employment?

No. You contract with us per clinic day, under a written work order you accept or decline. There is no minimum commitment and no schedule you don't set yourself.

What does it pay?

Per completed exam. We walk through the exact numbers with you on the first call — before you sign anything.

Am I covered?

Yes. Providers are covered as additional insureds under our professional and general liability program, with a cyber policy alongside and a certificate issued to you.

Do I treat anyone?

No. You examine and document; the state's disability examiners decide the claim. No prescribing, no follow-up panel, no insurance billing, ever.
